Homemade Soup of the Day

Served with warm crusty bread and butter. Perfect for those looking to start with something cozy and comforting.

Breaded Brie Wedges

Creamy Brie, breaded and fried until golden, with a cranberry chutney on the side for a touch of sweetness.

Garlic Mushrooms

Sautéed in garlic butter and served with a toasted baguette. Earthy, rich, and great for mushroom lovers.

Juicy prawns in a marie rose sauce, layered with crisp lettuce and served with brown bread. An old-school classic done right.

The Grouse Inn Ploughman’s

A board loaded with local cheeses, honey-roast ham, pork pie, pickles, and crusty bread. Great for two to share as a hearty snack or light lunch.

Loaded Nachos

Topped with melted cheese, sour cream, guacamole, salsa, and jalapeños. Choose between beef chili or vegetarian bean chili. A proper pub favorite for sharing.

Baked Camembert

A whole wheel of creamy Camembert, baked to gooey perfection, with garlic, rosemary, and a side of crusty bread for dipping. Perfect for warming up after a day in the Dales.

Sticky BBQ Chicken Wings

A pile of juicy, sticky wings with a BBQ glaze, served with a tangy blue cheese dip. Messy, delicious, and meant to be shared.

Pub Classics

Beer-Battered Fish & Chips

Crispy, golden cod fillet with chunky chips, mushy peas, and tartare sauce. A true British classic and a must-have after exploring the countryside.

Steak & Ale Pie

Tender beef and rich ale gravy encased in golden pastry, served with creamy mash or chips, and seasonal vegetables. Comfort food at its finest.

Sausage & Mash

Locally sourced sausages, served on a bed of buttery mash with rich onion gravy and a side of peas. Simple, hearty, and oh-so-satisfying.

Classic Beef Burger

A juicy beef patty in a toasted bun with lettuce, tomato, and our secret burger sauce. Served with crispy fries and coleslaw on the side. Add cheese, bacon, or both if you fancy.

Vegetable Lasagne

Layers of roasted vegetables, creamy béchamel, and rich tomato sauce, topped with melted cheese. Served with garlic bread and a side salad for a wholesome veggie option.
